This new event series will consist of a fireside chat with a veteran IRO, Susan Soprovich, F.CIRI, Partner, Clear Path Strategies and allow the opportunity to have an open dialogue and exchange ideas among peers.
This virtual event will be held quarterly with an open format where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn from a Veteran IRO - Susan Soprovich, F.CIRI, Partner, Clear Path Strategies. For the final 30 minutes of the call, it will be opened up to roundtable discussions where you can hear what is top of mind among peers and exchange ideas.
She will be sharing her experiences from her career and insights on:
- how she landed in IR;
- the importance of IR being a strategic role;
- how to be successful in an IR role and where it could take you; and
- how the IR role may evolve in the future.

Susan Soprovich, F.CIRI, Partner, Clear Path Strategies
Susan’s career spans over two decades of experience in communications from both a corporate and consulting perspective. As a senior executive, she was responsible for the strategic direction of local and international investor and public relations, communications and regulatory activities and managing several corporate transactions. Dedicated to providing value, Susan uses creativity and knowledge to identify unique solutions to meet clients’ needs – establish, gain and sustain market positions.
Susan has been an active member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI), and was awarded a CIRI Fellowship, recognizing leaders in the investor relations profession who by their achievements bring distinction to the profession and serve as role models for others. Susan has received several awards for her work for her contribution to the profession of public and investor relations.
