Angela Johnson, Vice President, Corporate Development & Sustainability, Faraday Copper Corp.

Angela Johnson is a diversified mining and exploration professional with over 12 years of experience holding numerous technical, operational, and corporate level leadership roles for junior and intermediate producers across North and South America. Most recently, Ms. Johnson led the corporate development team at Silvercorp Metals in the assessment and evaluation of international precious and base metal projects for potential acquisition or strategic investment. Prior to that, she held the role of Exploration Manager for Calibre Mining Corp., where she led the operational exploration teams and managed near mine drilling activities at the company’s operations in Nicaragua. During the period of 2012-2019, Ms. Johnson held various technical, project management, and sustainability positions for SSR Mining Inc., where she co-developed the company’s inaugural Sustainability Report and specialized in launching or advancing numerous exploration efforts at projects in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Argentina, with a focus on building local teams, and community and stakeholder engagement. Angela holds an M.Sc. in Geology/Geochemistry from the University of Victoria, an MBA (2022) in Financial Services from Dalhousie University, and is a registered member of the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

Ryan King, Senior Vice President Corporate Development & Investor Relations, Calibre Mining Corp

Ryan King has over 15 years of experience in increasingly senior capacities in capital markets in the resource sector. Mr.King was previously responsible for leading the investor relations activities for Newmarket Gold, as the company completed a $2 billion transformational merger with Kirkland Lake Gold. Before joining Newmarket Gold, he was involved in starting Terrane Metals which owned the Mount Milligan Copper-Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada. From 2006 to 2010,  Mr.King was involved in financing, corporate development, and investor relations for Terrane Metals as well as assisting with the acquisition of Terrane Metals in 2010 by Thompson Creek for $800 million. He brings an established approach to business in the natural resource sector, with specific and targeted applications for delivering shareholder value in the mining industry. During his career, he has assisted in raising $350 million for previous companies. Mr.King holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Royal Roads University in British Columbia, Canada. He currently sits on the Board of Newcore Gold and Edgewater Exploration Ltd.

Peter Lekich, Director, Investor Relations, Northwest Copper

Peter Lekich has more than ten years of experience in investor relations, and previously worked at Galiano Gold and Eldorado Gold. In both roles he led the investor relation functions and developed strategies to engage the investment community. Prior to this Mr. Lekich worked in project finance, asset management and investor relations positions at Alterra Power, a developer and operator of renewable power projects. Mr. Lekich has a B.A.SC in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Sauder School of Business.

Stacey Pavlova, Vice President, Investor Relations & Communications, Faraday Copper Corp.

Stacey Pavlova is a finance professional with over ten years of experience in the mining industry within the spheres of investor relations, finance, and metal sales. Most recently, Ms. Pavlova was the Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at New Pacific Metals, a NYSE American and TSX-listed exploration stage mining company, focused on the discovery and development of silver assets. In this capacity, Ms. Pavlova was involved in setting the strategic communications direction of the company and was responsible for establishing and executing the investor relations plan. Prior to that, Ms. Pavlova held various positions in investor relations, treasury, and metal sales with SSR Mining, an intermediate precious metals producer with operations in the U.S., Canada, Turkey, and Argentina. Ms. Pavlova volunteers as a Board member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (“CIRI”), a member of the CIRI audit committee and a Chair of the CIRI British Columbia chapter. Ms. Pavlova holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and is a graduate of the University of Denver, where she completed a Master’s in Finance degree.

Jennifer Prospero, Senior Director, Sustainability, Eldorado Gold

Jennifer Prospero is the Senior Director, Sustainability for Eldorado Gold, a gold and base metals producer with operations in Greece, Turkey and Canada and has been the principal lead on developing and launching an industry-leading integrated management system for sustainability at Eldorado Gold, which sets minimum performance standards in line with World Gold Council’s RGMPs, MAC’s Towards Sustainable Mining, the Cyanide Code and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights. The successful launch of the standards occurred over the course of the pandemic and will further support Eldorado’s ambitions of remaining in the top 25% ESG performers amongst its peers. Her efforts saw continual improvement in Eldorado’s ESG scores, including improved governance around sustainability through the description and adoption of Eldorado’s new sustainability framework and a complete overhaul of the Company’s policies.

In past roles, Ms. Prospero materially improved Sherritt’s sustainability strategy and reporting, of which they won a North American communications award, and brokered community investment partnerships with the likes of UNICEF. She was previously part of the permitting team, responsible for community relations and reporting, for one of the largest mines permitted in modern Canada (Baffinland).

Ms. Prospero is regularly invited to guest lecture of some of Canada’s top sustainability programs, including University of Toronto’s MSc in Sustainability Management and Schulich’s MBA in Global Mining Management. She is involved in a number of committees and at international forums including as industry representative on the Devonshire Initiative, Mining Association of Canada Initiative Leaders’ Committee, and PDAC’s Sustainability Committee.

In 2022, Ms. Prospero was named a Global 100 Inspirational Women in Mining by WIM UK.

James Simandl, Account Executive, Irwin

James Simandl is a Senior Account Executive at Irwin, a capital markets software company building a better way to manage investor relations. Before joining Irwin, Mr. Simandl lived and worked abroad. He was also a ground floor member at 7shifts, helping to open their Toronto office and formalize a repeatable sales process to accelerate growth. The rapidly-growing SaaS company went on to secure an $80 million Series C financing round led by SoftBank.

Nicholas Van Dyk, Chief Financial Officer, NorthIsle Copper and Gold Inc.

Nicholas Van Dyk is a public company executive with over 16 years of experience in corporate development, finance, and investor relations with a focus on the mining industry. He has advised a range of public and private companies on strategic corporate matters, including internal and external growth projects as well as M&A transactions, equity, and debt financings totalling more than $35 billion. Mr. Van Dyk currently owns a consulting practice, where he advises public and private companies on corporate development and capital markets issues. Previously, he was Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Development at Polaris Materials Corporation prior to its acquisition by a major US construction materials company in 2017. As a member of the executive leadership team at Polaris, he led the successful investor relations function and created significant value for shareholders as a key contributor to corporate strategy, business development, finance, community relations and other matters. Mr. Van Dyk joined Northisle in November 2020.
