Helen Kelly, Director, Investor Relations, Teck Resources
Helen Kelly is a seasoned capital markets professional experienced in developing and communicating corporate, financial, and ESG strategies. She joined Teck Resources, Canada's largest diversified mining company in 2021 as Director of Investor Relations, after spending two years in the role of Vice President, Investor Relations at Aritzia, a Canadian women's fashion brand. Prior to this, she spent a decade in the oil and gas sector with MEG Energy and Suncor, held investment sales and research roles with UBS Securities and Scotiabank, in addition to international business experience in Asia. Helen was the former Alberta Chair and Treasurer of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute, and is passionate about mentoring young women, including her involvement with Women in Capital Markets. She recently joined the board of Wycliffe Canada, a Christian non-profit organization, in 2022. Helen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of British Columbia and a Masters of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario.
Anne Plasterer, CPIR, Partner, Clear Path Strategies
Anne has over two decades of experience providing comprehensive investor relations strategies for companies across a wide range of industries. Current clients include SECURE Energy, Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund and AutoCanada Inc. Prior to working as a consultant, she was Executive Director, Investor Relations at Newalta Corporation where she built the investor relations program from scratch, and was formerly with BFI Canada (now Waste Connections) where she oversaw investor and employee relations. Under her direction, BFI Canada was recognized with IR Magazine's Best Investment Community Meetings Award. Earlier in her career, Anne provided IR consulting services to multiple clients for a Toronto-based IR firm and was part of the Investor Relations team at HSBC Investment Bank in London, UK. Anne holds a Certified Professional in Investor Relations (CPIR) designation, a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has completed the Canadian Securities Course. She has been a member of CIRI since 2000, served on both the CIRI National and CIRI Alberta boards, and was Chair of the CIRI Alberta Chapter from 2011 to 2013.
Alison Trollope, CPIR, Principal, 44 Strategic
Alison possesses more than 20 years of investor relations, corporate communications, and regulatory experience across a broad range of industries including technology, healthcare and energy. Currently, she is Principal of 44 Strategic, working with high-growth organizations to advance their strategic goals. Before consulting, Alison led the Communications and Investor Education division of the Alberta Securities Commission, where she established the ASC's award-winning investor education campaign and contributed to strategies and programs with organization-wide implications as a member of the senior management committee. Prior, she led the investor relations and communications efforts of several mid to large cap organizations in the U.S. and Canada. Alison began her career working for investor and public relations firms in NYC where her clients ranged from pre-IPO start-ups to internationally recognized brands. Alison holds an M.S. in Public Relations from Syracuse University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Calgary.
