Ann Wilkinson, Vice President, Investor Relations, Generation Mining
A seasoned investor relations executive, Ann Wilkinson has been a denizen of the mining industry, working with both base and precious metals producers and developers, for longer than she will confess to.
While her profile on LinkedIn describes her being responsible for the development and execution of investor relations strategy; representing public companies in their respective relationships with the investment community and acting as a public spokesperson; she says she’d prefer to be remembered for her crisis communications around fires in production hoists, floods, cracked semi-autogenous grinding mills, strikes, layoffs, and challenges with newly commissioned tailings impoundment facilities and processing plants. Her career has not been without its ups and downs and accordingly, she will lead a candid discussion on managing one’s network, career transitions and career mobility (best practices and things to avoid), leadership development, and coaching.
