Jason Melo, Managing Director, Head of Canadian Equity Trading, Scotiabank
Jason Melo joined the Equity Sales and Trading team at Scotiabank in 2018 and brings over 15 years of institutional trading experience from both the buy side (RBC Asset Management) and the sell side. As Managing Director and Head of Canadian Agency Trading Jason is responsible for overseeing our client facing institutional sales traders.

William Mobius, Executive Director, Investor Relations Advisory, S&P Global Market Intelligence
Bill is a strategic Investor Relations professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to his current role as co-head of S&P’s North American advisory business, Bill oversaw the Tech, Media & Telecom team at IHS Markit and Ipreo. Bill’s core focus is on Capital Surveillance, Investor Targeting, Activist Defense, Capital Markets and broader IR Best Practice.

Paul O'Hea, Managing Director, Head, Global Equity Sales & Trading, Scotiabank
Paul O’Hea joined the Equity Sales and Trading team at Scotiabank in 2011 and brings over 20 years of institutional sales and trading experience from RBC and Merrill Lynch. As Head of Global Sales and Trading Paul manages all equity related execution, global client coverage, regulatory and risk management as well as global corporate access and marketing. He is actively involved in Scotia’s various recruitment, mentorship and diversity initiatives and currently sits on the board of directors at Investment Industry Association of Canada. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University.

Yvette Lokker, President & CEO, CIRI (Moderator)
Yvette became the President & CEO of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) in January 2013. She joined CIRI in 2008 as the Director of Communications and Professional Development and was promoted to Vice President in the fall of 2011. Yvette oversees the strategic direction of the organization and executes the business plan. She was responsible for establishing the first investor relations certification program in North America.

Prior to joining CIRI, Yvette was the Manager, Investor Relations at MDS Inc. where she assisted in developing and directing the investor relations strategies and activities for seven years.

Yvette has a BSc. in Chemistry and a Business Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University. She has completed the Strategic Management of Investor Relations program at the Richard Ivey School of Business, the Canadian Securities Course and the Governance Essentials Program for Directors of Not-For-Profit Organizations at the Rotman School of Management.
