Speakers

Bianca Pisciola, Chief Revenue Officer, 6ix
Bianca is the Chief Revenue Officer of 6ix, a capital markets technology platform. Through 6ix, she has deployed data-driven investor relations technology for more than 100 public mining companies, including Endeavour Mining and McEwen Mining. Bianca is on the founding team of Save Canadian Mining, an advocacy group dedicated to reinstating the tick test within Canadian capital markets. Other members of the founding team include Eric Sprott, Rob McEwen, Keith Neumeyer, Sean Roosen, and other leaders of industry. She also sits on the board of One Silver Lining, a Canadian non-profit organization she founded, supporting youth through conferences, benefit concerts, TEDx talks, and scholarships.

Rob Buchanan, CPIR, Director, Investor Relations, Karora Resources Inc.
Rob has been Director of Investor Relations for TSX listed Karora Resources Inc. (formerly Royal Nickel Corporation) since 2011. He has over 20 years’ experience in the mining industry, most of that time in the area of investor relations and public affairs. Before joining Karora Resources, Rob was Director, Investor Relations - at TSX and JSE listed Uranium One Inc. from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, Rob also spent over 10 years in various Investor Relations and Public Affairs roles at TSX and NYSE listed Inco Limited and Vale Inco. Rob is a Certified Professional in Investor Relations (CPIR) and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Resource Science. 

Yvette Lokker, President & CEO, CIRI (Moderator)
Yvette Lokker has been the President & CEO of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) since January 2013. She joined CIRI in 2008 as the Director of Communications and Professional Development and was promoted to Vice President in the fall of 2011. Yvette oversees the strategic direction of the organization and executes the business plan. She was responsible for establishing the first investor relations certification program in North America. Prior to joining CIRI, Yvette was the Manager, Investor Relations at MDS Inc. where she assisted in developing and directing the investor relations strategies and activities for seven years. Yvette has a BSc. in Chemistry and a Business Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University. She has completed the Strategic Management of Investor Relations program at the Richard Ivey School of Business, the Canadian Securities Course and the Governance Essentials Program for Directors of Not-For-Profit Organizations at the Rotman School of Management.

Chris Williams, Assistant Vice President, Investor Relations, Canadian Western Bank
Chris Williams is the Assistant Vice President Investor Relations at CWB Financial Group. He has contributed to the growth and success of several organizations involved in the capital markets for over 15 years, including roles in Investor Relations, Treasury, and Financial Planning and Analysis. He has supported organizations with small Investor Relations teams for approximately 10 years to implement all aspects of strategic IR programs. Chris holds an MBA from the University of Alberta.
