There is a high amount of financial and economic global distress, and we’re inundated with it. IROs don’t have to look very far. It’s affecting our organizations in various ways: credit crunches, difficulty raising funds for operations or new ventures, decreased stock prices, negative media coverage, and layoffs. And always, there is the reality of unhappy shareholders. |
