CIRI has a number of resources available to its members, including CIRI Guides, CIRI Research, the new IR eLibrary and ChatIR. Use the navigation on the left to access the page you are looking for. Remember, these resources are only available to CIRI members and so require you to login for access.
Guides are published on an ad hoc basis as the industry changes or as updates are required. Documents found here are available complementary to members and for purchase by non-members. The most current documents available include: CIRI's Guide to Developing an Investor Relations Program - Third Edition and CIRI's Standards and Guidance for Disclosure and Model Disclosure Policy - Fifth Edition.
Every two years, CIRI conducts the Investor Relations Responsibilities & Compensation Survey. The 2012 report is available for purchase. The 2014 survey is currently in the field and will be published in 2015.
CIRI is conducting research with IROs to identify investor relations best practices and trends. The first survey, on guidance practices, is complete and the report is currently being prepared. Subsequent research will be conducted on other topics that are important to IROs.
Launched in 2014, CIRI has created an IR eLibrary
which contains sample documents from IROs that are not publically
available. These include templates, plans, schedules and policies
developed by investor relations professionals that CIRI members can use
as resources when developing or updating their own documents.
The first phase of the IR eLibrary has been launched with documents on Disclosure and Marketing. The second phase was launched in August 2015 with documents on Crisis Communications and Media Relations. The third phase was launched in November 2016 with documents on Board Interaction.
ChatIR is a communication channel, featuring discussions with industry
experts on IR issues, trends and best practices.
