Anthony Ostler
Anthony Ostler is the Senior Vice President, Investor Relations,
reporting to the CFO of Manulife Financial. As part of Manulife's
Management Committee, Anthony acts as the Company’s primary liaison with
the investment community, and has a strong interface with the Executive
Committee. Anthony joined Manulife in 2010 from Canaccord Financial
Inc. where he held the position of SVP, Enterprise Information and Risk
Management. Included in his tenure with Canaccord, he was the Senior
Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications during which he
successfully led an equity IPO road show as well as developing and
launching an investor relations program noted for its excellent
disclosure. Prior to Canaccord, Anthony was with the Royal Bank of
Canada within the Corporate Treasury group and additionally held the
position of Senior Manager, Investor Relations. Anthony holds a B.A. in
History from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Richard
Ivey School of Business, UWO. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst with
the CFA Institute and a Certified Financial Risk Manager with the Global
Association of Risk Professionals. Over the years Anthony has conducted
an extensive amount of volunteer work and fundraising in support of the
community, professional associations, including CIRI, and educational
institutions. He is the current Chair of the Ivey Alumni Association
Board and an active leader for Manulife's Toronto United Way campaign.
