Lorne Gorber, Executive Vice President, Global Communications & Investor Relations, CGI Group
Lorne Gorber is responsible for leading CGI’s global strategic reputation management initiatives, including serving as company spokesperson and significantly growing the company’s investment coverage. He also is a member of the CGI Executive Committee, which is responsible for the company’s global strategy and operations oversight. Lorne is a recognized leader in the communications and investor relations communities and is key to building and upholding our reputation as a partner, employer and investment of choice. Under Lorne’s leadership, CGI’s investor relations program has played a key role in increasing investor perception and ultimately CGI’s valuation. On the communications side, Lorne leads CGI’s global communications strategy, including developing and growing our digital footprint, enriching our media relations program, and leading internal and external communications initiatives in support of the company’s growth objectives.
Katie Keita, Director, Investor Relations, Shopify Inc.
Katie Keita leads Investor Relations at Shopify, Inc., the leading cloud-based commerce platform designed for small and medium-sized businesses. Shopify operates in 175 countries and is trusted by big brands including Tesla Motors, Budweiser, Red Bull, the LA Lakers, Procter and Gamble and GE. Since Shopify went public on both the New York and Toronto stock exchanges in May 2015, Keita has focused initiating dialogue with growth investors that are long-term oriented, while also expanding name recognition by aggressively recruiting new sell-side analysts to initiate coverage of Shopify. Prior to joining Shopify in March of 2015, Keita was Director of Investor Relations at EMC Corporation, a storage technology company that is currently undergoing the largest M&A transaction in tech history in its merger with Dell.
